The Gulf Stream Bar & Grille offers guests a truly unique experience, from our spectacular setting to our eclectic menu. We are located at Safe Harbor Marina  / New England Boatworks, in the scenic Melville Marina District of Portsmouth, RI. We pride ourselves on creating a comfortable, friendly dining experience for all. Our main dining room, indoor bar and dog-friendly outdoor deck and bar provide stunning sunset and water views.
 

We are housed in an original Quonset Hut, built in 1942 as part of the US Navy’s PT-Boat Training Center at Melville. The space was converted into a restaurant over 30 years ago and began operation as The Gulf Stream Bar & Grille in May, 2016.

Our creative menu features coastal cooking with a New England Twist. All of our dishes are house-made with the freshest ingredients and we proudly support our local farmers and fishermen.
